Students from Borenore Public School searching for bugs in the forest

What a lovely, inquisitive and excited group of students we welcomed to WEEC this morning from Borenore PS. Kinder, Yr 1 and Yr 2 students are visiting the local area and spent 2 hours at WEEC becoming Bug Detectives in the Forest. The students took part in dip netting activities and identified a large number of insects that they caught in the nets before returning them to the dam. Just before leaving the Centre the students had a visit with our resident blue tongue lizard Stubsie.
