Stage 3 - Environmental Connections

Students take part in a series of activities designed to help them connect with and appreciate the environment by spending time in it and having fun!

Stage 3 - Kayaking

Students learn to paddle in a kayak, exploring a local waterway while playing games and discussing the natural ecosystem and the harmful impacts of humans.

Stage 3 - HPGE - Nature Documentaries - overnight camp

Nature loving students are provided a chance to explore their local environments and identify living things that would make a suitable topic for a short nature documentary.

Stage 3 - Incursion - Renewable Engery

Students use STELR kits to investigate the electrical power produced by wind turbines and solar panels. Students evaluate their designs and discuss the benefits of using renewable energy sources.

The Kitchen Garden program is a food education experience that offers an array of health, wellbeing,  and community benefits. Kitchen Garden is a fun, hands-on approach to teaching students about fresh, seasonal, delicious food so they form positive food habits for life
