About this excursion
Teddy Bear's Picnic activities provide opportunities for students to learn about the basic needs that all living things require to survive. They will learn the secret of PAWS. Students will focus on people’s interactions with, and responsibilities towards, living things and the environments in which they are found.
Focus:
The purpose of this camp is for students to learn about the needs of living things through the secret of PAWS and to become active environmental citizens as they are appointed guardians of living things.
Excursion activities
The excitment and anticipation builds when your kindy kids recieve a sweet letter from Theodore, Teddy in charge inviting them to Wambangalang.
Upon arrival, your students will get to enjoy supervised nature play with their teddies and friends and then move onto the rainbow pieces activity.
The rainbow fun continues with the students provided a delicious "eat a Rainbow" fruit break and special Teddy Bear treat (provided by WEEC).
After morning tea your students rotate between 3 woodland aventure sessions and work together to build a tiny teddy shelter
Your students return to the classroom to discover the picnic baskets gone, and head off following Theodore through the Wild Woods to find their teddies and picnic lunches.
Your students return from the wild wood with their teddies and wonderful stories on how they found them.

NSW DoE School - $15 per student

Non-Government and Independent schools - $700 per Wambangalang teacher.
*Please note that larger groups may require more than 1 Wambangalang teacher.
